The book contains contributions to the research field of User Behavior Modeling (UBM) and Cognitive modelling, which plays a critical role in user interest learning and has been extensively used in recommender systems. It entails crucial interactive patterns between users and items that have been exploited, which brings compelling improvements in many recommendation tasks. The concepts used here involve the application of computational models to design and build user interactive behaviour towards different user interphases. User behaviour modelling is understanding how users interact with a product or service. This information can improve the user experience, make the product or service more user-friendly, and increase engagement. Cognitive perception is the way that users interpret and process information. This information can be used to understand how users make decisions and interact with the world around them. By combining user behaviour modelling and cognitive perception, it is possible to gain a deeper understanding of how users interact with a product or service. This information can improve the user experience, make the product or service more user-friendly, and increase engagement. Research from this field is welcome all year round.
