Human Centric Computing
Fundamentals in User Behaviour Modelling i
The Book is based on contributions of the design, development, and deployment of mixed-initiative human-computer systems. Each of the chapter is based on research in Human-Centric Computing (HCC) emerged from the convergence of multiple disciplines that are concerned both with understanding human beings and with the design of ergonomics and computational artefacts. Human-centered computing is very closely related to human-computer interaction (HCI) and information science. The research on HCC is usually concerned with systems and practices of technology use and is also more focused on ergonomics and the usability of computing artefacts and information science that is focused on practices surrounding the collection, manipulation, and use of information and databases of emotion. Each chapter is based on and directed to this focus.
